New solutions for integrated water resources management in Europe

From 2010 to 2014, six European research projects funded within the IWRM Net ERA-Net second call have investigated new solutions for integrated water resources management in Europe, under three main themes: • Climate change and adaptation, • Water scarcity and droughts, • Economics and social values for integrated water management. The six projects have now come to a close! The final conference will bring opportunities for scientists, water managers, knowledge brokers and policy makers to: • get the most out of these recent research results, • exchange about their transfer to stakeholders and water managers in different European countries. This event will be held in cooperation with the Water Joint Programming Initiative (http://www.waterjpi.eu/) which will launch its first Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda in Brussels in the morning of October 21st.
