Dr. Fulya Aydin-Kandemir received her Physics undergraduate degree with high honor in 2013 from Ege University. She completed her master's degree in 2015 and earned her doctorate diploma in 2021 from Ege University Solar Energy Institute. During her graduate education, she took part in many university projects and specially invited the TUBITAK project. Her research topics include renewable energy, geographic information systems, remote sensing, decision support systems, evaluation of climate change impacts, future projections of climate change impacts, land use projections, habitat and biodiversity analysis. The effects of climate change in the lakes and long-time analyzes of heatwaves are also included in her studies. Aydin-Kandemir has national and international academic papers in her fields of study. In 2020, she was awarded the Environmental Systems Research Institute's (ESRI) Young Scholar Award for her spatial analysis and planning study on the freshwater problem in Africa. She is also a member of the Hydropolitics Association in Ankara, Turkey.
