HPA Hydropolitics Academy and  the  Vagheningen University Cooperation on a Master Level  Study Thesis  about  the Maritza River Transboundary Floods

  20 October 2018 Dr Jeroen F Warner,Associate Professor of Disaster Studies ,Research Coordinator of the  Sociology  Development and Change Social Sciences Group in the Netherland  Wageningen University officially asked to Hydropolitics Association to cooperate about a coordination effort in Turkey for a MSc Thesis. In the letter dated June 26 2018  he stated that “Ms. Anusha Sanjeev Mehta is carrying on her master's level study in International Land and Water Management at Wageningen University and Research, the Netherlands. Her Master of Science Thesis is going to be on transboundary flood management in the Meric River, focusing on the issue of floods in Edirne. We would very much appreciate if she can cooperate with your Center when she is conducting her fieldwork in Turkey. Yours sincerely” Hydropolitics Association  accepted  to cooperate with the Wageningen University  and welcomed  Ms. Anusha Sanjeev Mehta in Ankara. The Academy performed to organize field trips in Edirne City by the help of Local Irrigation Cooperation. In Ankara Dursun Yıldız Director of the Hydropolitics Academy welcomed her and respond her questions about Maritsa River Floods reasons and results as well as failed Hydro Diplomacy in the Basin. In between 15 October and 19 October 2018 ,The Hydropolitics Academy Center   organized some interviews  with water Experts related with Maritza River Basin in the General Directorate of Water Management ( GDWM) ,TEMELSU an International Engineering and Consultancy Co.,and Ufuk University International Relations Department in Ankara . The Last day of her in Ankara ,Hydropolitics Academy asked Ms. Anusha Sanjeev Mehta to  make a presentation on transboundary isses in India. She made a  presentation on this issue in the Academy Center. She also applied to become a temporary member of the Hydropolitics Association and accepted .Her Membership Certificate was given by Gürani Koch , Head of International Affairs Center of the Hydropolitics Association. Ms. Anusha Sanjeev Mehta thanked to Hydropolitics Associaton for their kind behaviour and great effort for her study . HPA News.
